Answers to common questions — and a real person behind the inbox.
How does the daily message work?
Each calendar day, Omenote selects one message for you. It stays the same all day — closing or restarting the app never reshuffles it. A new message becomes available when the date changes.
Can I change when the notification arrives?
Yes — Profile → Notifications. You can also choose what the notification carries: a quiet reminder, or the day's message itself.
What is "Ask for a sign"?
A separate small ritual: hold a question in mind, choose one of three face-down cards, and receive a message. Free users get three signs per week; Omenote Plus removes the limit.
What does Omenote Plus include?
Unlimited signs, your full journal history (the free app shows your 30 most recent reflections — nothing is ever deleted), and the choice of message typeface. It's $0.99/month or $9.99/year, and it's also simply a way to support a solo developer.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the Manage subscription button inside the app. Canceling keeps Plus until the end of the paid period. Refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid on another device — how do I restore Plus?
Profile → Restore purchases, while signed into the same Apple ID.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, and only there. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your journal never leaves your phone. See the Privacy Policy.
If I delete the app, what happens to my journal?
Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app deletes your data. If you're switching phones, an iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or an encrypted device backup carries it over.
Still stuck — or just want to say hello?
Omenote is made by one person, and every email lands directly with me. I read all of them.
